A recent addition to the park is eight orientation boards, located at various points along popular walking routes. The boards contain a variety of information ranging from the history of the park site, through to descriptions of the wildlife found in various habitats. At the West Point viewpoint you’ll find an annotated picture of the panoramic view enjoyed from this spot.
The boards were made possible thanks to the hard work of volunteers from the Friends of Cotgrave Country Park group, with funding from Nottinghamshire County Council.
We encourage visitors to explore the park and find the boards for themselves, as each is placed next to something the board describes. But for those who cannot get to the park, each board is available for download below:
