Task days

Our volunteer task days follow a set pattern:

1st Tuesday in the month

2nd Sunday in the month

3rd Thursday in the month

4th Sunday in the month

Upcoming task days:

There's no need to book in advance; simply meet us in the Car Park on Hollygate Lane.

If you're a gardener, a DIY-er, or just fancy helping us maintain the park, then task days are for you! Activities are quite varied and include putting up bird and bat boxes, painting benches, improving wildlife habitats, hedge-laying, and more.

No experience is required, you can choose how much you do and how long you stay, and tasks can be suited to your abilities. Nottinghamshire County Council staff provide equipment, training and refreshments. It's a great way to meet new people and find out more about the park.
