Reporting problems or concerns

This website is run by the Friend Of Cotgrave Country Park. We are a local volunteer group, but have no direct authority over the park ourselves. We can help answer general enquires about the park, but cannot help with crimes, dog problems, or concerns about the behaviour of other park users. You can find our contact details towards the bottom of this page.

Reporting crimes, or concerns about behaviour

Crimes or concerns about the behaviour of other users should be reported directly to Nottinghamshire Police. Call 999 to report an immediate threat to life or property, or call 101 for a non-emergency crime. You can also report crimes online.

Rushcliffe Dog Warden

Rushcliffe Borough Council have a dog warden, who can be contacted in relation to concerns with dog behaviour (including in the park). Details can be found on Rushcliffe Borough Council’s website.

Park infrastructure

The park is owned and managed by Nottinghamshire County Council. Concerns about park infrastructure (such as dangerous path surfaces, fallen trees blocking pathways etc.) can be reported via Nottinghamshire County Council’s website.

The canal running through the middle of the park is managed by the Canal And Rivers Trust. Concerns relating to the canal itself, the towpath, and bridges over the canal should be reported via the Canal And Rivers Trust website.
