Partner organisations

We’re lucky to have partnerships with some great organisations with similar aims to ours. Pay them a visit to find out what they’re up to!

• Nottinghamshire County Council Green Spaces. The park is owned and managed by Nottinghamshire County Council. The council supports our volunteer wardens scheme, and also runs the task day activities in Cotgrave Country Park, as well as other parks and countryside spaces.
• South Notts Wildlife Group is Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust members’ group in Rushcliffe, working to promote nature conservation locally.
• Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust works to protect and enhance wildlife and habitats throughout Nottinghamshire.
• Nottinghamshire Biodiversity Action Group is a partnership of groups working together to conserve and enhance the wildlife of Nottinghamshire to the benefit of people.
• Nottinghamshire Bat Group monitors and cares for bats throughout Nottinghamshire, and has placed bat boxes in Cotgrave Country Park.
• Plastic Free Cotgrave works to reduce single-use plastic in and around Cotgrave.
• Cotgrave Community Garden is transforming unused land in the centre of Cotgrave into a productive fruit and vegetable garden, powered by volunteers.
• Wild Things Keyworth supports wildlife in the neighbouring village of Keyworth, and has had amazing success with their Hedgehog Highways!
• Grantham Canal Society works to maintain the Grantham Canal (which passes through Cotgrave Country Park), and restore it to full navigation.
